Rincon L5 Archtop Guitar - Tone, Power, Intonation

We offer two versions of the Rincon L5 archtop guitar, full size (w/ 16” lower bout) and parlor size (14” lower bout). Both are inspired by the Gibson Lloyd Loar era L5 archtop guitars of the mid-1920s.  They consistently exhibit a surprising “punch” with powerful, woody tone and significant volume that really “cuts through” in band environments.   They’re definitely not your normal archtop guitar, excelling at Swing\Gypsy jazz music styles as well as Folk and even hard-driving Bluegrass music styles!

We incorporate innovative engineering advances like a Tension Compensated Fret Scale to eliminate any sharpness of fretted notes higher up the neck, regardless of action height.  It intonates perfectly from the 1st fret to the 22nd fret.
