Artist Model F-Style Mandolin

Our first Artist Model F5 mandolin.  We collaborated with CJ Lewandowski\Po’ Ramblin’ Boys mandolinist to build an instrument inspired by his Lloyd Loar F5, Zeus.  With a red spruce top, this bad boy has a lot to say from the stage!  This is the prototype #1.

F-Style Mandolin

Stunning beautiful Blond master grade, French polished Sitka spruce top with contrasting tortoise binding.  This is one of my favorite instruments and stands out equally well in a Brazilian Choro Roda or a local Bluegrass jam with great complex tone.

F-Style Mandolin

From the look to the sound, this instrument is your prototypical ” Bluegrass Mandolin” with a bit of modern flare.  It has an Engelmann spruce top that produces that woody bluegrass chop you’d expect from a old, well played red spruce mandolin.

Octave Mandolin

Octaves, Octaves, Octaves…  I can’t build them fast enough!  This stylish instrument has an Engelmann spruce top that is finely French polished to really unlock its voice.  It produces significant volume with pure tone, precise intonation and eyepopping playability due to our Tension Compensated fret scale and comfortable neck geometry.  Once you play it, you’ll understand!

A-Style Mandolin

Old growth Sitka spruce top that sounds like a well broken in instrument.  This stylish, modern design was suggested by Seth Mulder\Midnight Run Bluegrass band when I asked him “what would your favorite instrument look like if you could design it”.  It has a lot of volume, great woody chop and punches well above its weight class.

Rincon L5 Archtop Guitar

“Wow!  This isn’t your standard Archtop guitar” – the surprisingly consistent comment made by some of the nation’s top acoustic guitar players who have played this instrument.  This has been my Rincon L5 Demo instrument that I take to shows like the Fretboard Journal’s Fretboard Summit and its now for sale.  This well played guitar exhibits the significant projection and sustain necessary to “cut through” in a band situation while producing an even, balanced tone across all strings and up the neck.  It also has a built in K & K twin Piezo pickup installed for any additional “punch” if you need it.

Model: CMGL-ENG

Rincon L5 Archtop Guitar

As beautiful to look at as it is fun to play.  With a sinker redwood top that is slightly mineralized, it produces a surprising bright tone not normally associated with redwood.
